Such systems only enable limited two-way communication. The new IP Video Door Station from MOBOTIX offers a modern, powerful solution that is easy to install and that has never been available to the market until now.
ExtIO Opens New Horizons For Cameras
With its new ExtIO module, MOBOTIX leads the way to completely new technology. The ExtIO can be connected to a camera either directly via USB or through a network. It extends the MOBOTIX camera to a high-performance audio unit with microphone and speaker, infrared motion detector, temperature sensor and additional switch in-/outputs. Door and gate intercom systems are easy to implement using the two illuminated buttons.

MxDisplay+ is a wall-mountable Building Automation Server with touchscreen display, incorporating WiFi and RFID functionality. From this central glass console,you can add and configure all MOBOTIX devices. Multiple MxDisplay+’s can be wirelessly connected, each being powered via PoE.
The c25 is Mobotix’s smallest 6MP hemispheric camera and comes with three clamps for easy installation in suspended ceilings like a halogen down light.
Alternatively equipped with a telephoto lens and mounted above a cash box the c25 will provide a very detailed video of the content and allows even reading the serial numbers of the bank notes.

MxSoftPanel is a new, free of charge user software from MOBOTIX that offers the functionality and user interface of the MxDisplay+ as a stand-alone application, meaning it can transform any Windows- or Mac OS X-based computer into an additional remote station.

This tree structure enables users to have an overview of the basic structure and simplify management of the video sources.
Fans of the Mobotix M15D model, recently had more reason to celebrate when Mobotix released the M15-Thermal Weatherproof Thermographic system. The camera houses a thermal sensor module with the option to add a secondary optical sensor module.
While the thermal module is fixed, users can choose what type of secondary module is used – so you can back up your thermal sensor with either a Day/Colour or Night/Black & White sensor. This combination proves to be a winning combo for many individuals and businesses.
Thermal sensors are ideal for detecting people in low light situations or where the scene is littered with obstacles, criminals are no longer able to hide behind such obstacles, thanks to the advanced thermal imaging technology.
Once a target is detected, the secondary optical sensor in the M15 can be used to capture and identify specific details.
If a heat source is detected at night, the camera can be configured to communicate with surrounding lighting, which can be activated by the trigger. This then allows the optical sensor to identify facial features or license plates of the target.
The M15D-Thermal is a decentralized IP video device, fully weatherproof (IP66) and utilizes less than half the power of most thermal imaging cameras (max 5.5W).
It includes an internal speaker and microphone for two-way communication. If required, a user can communicate through the camera, or set a pre-recorded message to play out over the speaker as a warning or welcome message based on event actions.
