Basic information: NAS & Video Security

Network Attached Storage (NAS) makes it possible to centrally store and share the video and audio recordings of cameras in the network without the need for a computer or external hard disk.

Basically, a NAS is a small computer (file server) with a processor, RAM, hard drives and its own operating system. In addition to easy operation (also remotely), professional NAS devices with at least two slots for inserting hard disks offer increased data security through hard disk redundancy (RAID).

This means that if a hard drive fails, the data is not necessarily lost because it will always be stored on the rest of the NAS’s hard drives and will continue to be available. Due to its manageable costs, low maintenance, easy scalability and high data security, NAS systems are already the central storage system of choice in many smaller video systems with less than 10 cameras.

MOBOTIX unveiled their new secret at IFSEC Global London 2018.
#MOBOTIX is demonstrated the first public appearance of its new MOBOTIX MOVE line of cameras.

It consists of four models and is also the first MOBOTIX camera series offered with the latest market standard features such as motorized varifocal lenses, integrated IR illumination and Wide Dynamic Range functionality.

The new MxBell version 2.0 is here! Free of charge for Android and iOS.

The update scores with its new playback function, which makes it possible to search through the recorded events for the integrated Door Stations and cameras at a specific time point and play back the individual clips. In addition, the Grid view will simultaneously display up to four cameras, which in particular is a great advantage for small installations.
